Series of Shiurim for Women

We are organizing a series of shiurim on the halachot of taharat mishpacha in the zechus of a refuah of Refael Matityahu Yaakov ben Gittel Rivkah for ladies only.  The five part review class will include both halacha and hashkafa and practical inspiring thoughts. The class is an open-style format and will last for no longer than 2 hours per class, which will include time for questions and answers. All questions and comments are welcome. Handouts will be distributed each time to minimize note taking and to share sources.

These classes will be taught by Yaffa Goldsmith (see bio below) and will be held at my house (980 East End in Saddle Ridge- Woodmere) from 8-10pm on the following dates:
July 20th , Aug 3rd, Aug 10th, Aug. 31st and  Sep.14th.
Please note that these classes are a five part series, each class discussing a different aspect of tarahat mishpacha so your commitment is for the five-part series.
The class is limited to 15 people.  As the first class is scheduled to start next week, please email me and let me know by Monday 7/18 if you would like to participate.

Therefore, on behalf of Jason's family, please make every effort possible to take some time out of your day to try and at least attend one tehillim gathering this week as it would really mean a lot to them to know that we are all davening for his speedy recovery.

Email from HALB regarding Friday March 11th day of learning

This Friday, March 11th (5 Adar II) has been designated as a day of tefilot, tehillim and learning for Matityahu Yaakov ben Gittel Rivkah (Jason Botnick).  It is a significant day for Jason as he continues along the road to recovery from his serious illness.

The family truly appreciates what is being done in zechut of a speedy refuah shelayma and we believe that each student can impact the outcome favorably.  All learning in all divisions at HALB on Friday will be dedicated by Jason’s family to speedily help bring a full and complete refuah.

We hope and pray that in the zechut of all of our prayers, learning and tehillim he will merit a complete and full recovery.

Email from HALB- candle lighting tefilot

As you all know when women light the candles before Shabbos it is a special time for them and they have the special power to ask Hashem for special requests.

Two of our young parents, Jason Botnick and Darielle Rabe, are currently undergoing treatments in the hospital for their illnesses.

Please keep in mind Matityahu Yaakov ben Gittel Rivkah and Tziporah Feiga bat Sima Sheindel for a refuah shalema.  Please ask that Hashem grant them a complete and speedy recovery and may they be returned to their families and us in good health.

We wish everyone a Shabbat Shalom and a refuah to all those that need it.

Well Wishes

Jason appreciates the outpouring of love, well wishes and concern and is baruch hashem feeling well. It has been brought to his attention that many want to call and or visit. Please keep the emails coming as they provide tremendous comfort and strength. But instead of visiting and or calling, please set aside that time for either davening, learning or doing extra mitzvot in the zechus of the refuah shleimah for Matityahu Yaakov ben Gitel Rivka.

In addition, please use this thread to post any well wishes for the Botnick Family.

May Hashem send them a yeshuah.
